Diana F. Bartlett

Diana joined International Leverage in 2002. For over 20 years Diana, founder and President of Sorelli B Inc., has helped companies grow through the creation and implementation of innovative product and business development initiatives.

Able to transfer skills across industry sectors, Diana has specific expertise in consumer products, advertising, manufacturing, health care, and educational categories. Her corporate experience includes senior product management, marketing, and sales positions for GE and Johnson & Johnson, as well as customer service and marketing experience in the not-for-profit health sector.

A quick study and a quick wit, Diana is known for embracing complex challenges, acting decisively, and building cross-functional collaborative teams.

Diana’s functional experience is extensive, reflecting her ability to solve market-related problems that retard growth:

  • New product development and launch – established a new product category for GE’s consumer lighting division, generating a net sales increase of over $5 million in year one
  • Product management – managed a $30 million rechargeable battery business
  • Sales and business development – personally generated over $1 million in incremental revenue for a J&J operating company in just one year; helped introduce Japanese cardiac guidewire to US market
  • Market research – quantitative and qualitative studies that helped shape consumer and provider strategic approach for Epicyte, Inc.
  • Advertising and direct marketing – managed all advertising and marketing for J&J’s disease prevention/health promotion operating company
  • Financial strategic planning – identified and analyzed potential acquisitions and merger partners for J&J, Deaconess Associates Inc. health system, and others
  • General management and operations – P&L responsibility for operating units at both GE, J&J; increased efficiencies and boosted sales in customer service department at international not-for-profit entity
  • Training and development – deliver added value to customers and field sales force through targeted workshops and seminars

Education & Training
Holder of an MBA from the University of Chicago, and a BA from the University of Iowa, Diana is a Board Member of the Chicago Product Development and Management Association. She is co-author of Structuring Provider Networks for the New Health Care Consumer (McGraw-Hill, 1998). Sorelli B Inc. is a certified Women’s Business Enterprise.
